Reformer Essentials

New to Reformer Pilates? Start Here.

This three-week introductory series is designed for anyone who has never taken a Reformer class or wants a truly guided beginning. In a small-group setting, you’ll learn how to safely use the equipment, understand spring loads, build core awareness, and move with confidence. Each week builds on the last, giving you a clear path from absolute beginner to feeling fully prepared for regular group classes.

Across the three sessions, we’ll cover:

  • How to set up and adjust the reformer

  • Breathwork, alignment, and core engagement

  • Foundational movements for legs, arms, and balance

  • Safe transitions and technique you’ll use in every future class

You’ll finish the series feeling confident, supported, and ready to step into Reformer Foundations classes with ease.

Ideal for: brand-new clients, anyone who feels nervous trying Pilates for the first time, or those returning after a long break.
Format: 1 class per week for 3 consecutive weeks.

Reformer Intro

A welcoming, beginner-focused class designed to help you try Reformer Pilates with confidence.

This 30-minute group session gives you a hands-on introduction to the reformer, the basic movements, and what a Pilates class feels like—without the pressure of keeping up or knowing anything in advance. You’ll learn how to safely set up the equipment, explore a few foundational exercises, and get a feel for the reformer’s unique support and resistance.

The pace is slow, supportive, and tailored for absolute beginners. Everyone in the room is new, making it a comfortable space to ask questions, get guidance, and see if Pilates is right for you.

Perfect for anyone curious about Reformer Pilates and looking for an easy, low-commitment way to try it out.

Reformer Foundations

The perfect place to start.

Reformer Foundations is designed for clients who are new to Pilates or anyone who wants to build confidence with the core principles and equipment. This class moves at a comfortable pace with clear instruction, intentional sequencing, and a strong focus on alignment and safety.

You’ll learn how to adjust the reformer, understand spring loads, and connect to the fundamentals that make Pilates effective: breath, core engagement, stability, and controlled movement.

Ideal for: beginners, returning clients, and anyone who prefers a slower, technique-focused class.

Reformer Flow

Smooth, steady, and full-body — suitable for all levels

Reformer Flow builds on the fundamentals and introduces more continuous movement, thoughtful transitions, and balanced strength work. You’ll move through sequences that connect breath, stability, and coordination while still having options to modify or advance based on your comfort level.

This class is welcoming to all levels, but brand-new clients will feel most confident after completing a few Foundations classes first.

Reformer Center & Restore

A grounded, restorative class that blends core connection and mobility.

Reformer Center & Restore focuses on deep core engagement, gentle strength, breathwork, and intentional stretching to help you reset and rebalance. Think slower transitions, longer holds, supported shapes, and movements that release tension while improving stability.

This class is perfect for days when your body needs less intensity and more mindful control. You’ll move, lengthen, restore, and leave feeling centered and refreshed.

Ideal for: beginners, clients returning from a break, active recovery days, and anyone who wants a calmer, more restorative reformer experience.
